Independent Psychological Reports

Daybreak Psychology provides independent psychological reports and assessments for legal, insurance and occupational purposes.

Reports are prepared by Daniel Wright, Clinical Psychologist, and are based on a comprehensive review of the available information, together with a clinical interview and psychological assessment where appropriate.

Types of Reports

Reports may be prepared in relation to:

  • Personal injury matters

  • Workplace injury and WorkCover claims

  • Motor vehicle accidents and TAC matters

  • Historical abuse and trauma-related claims

  • Victims of crime applications

  • Fitness for work and occupational issues

  • Psychological treatment recommendations

  • Capacity and functional impairment questions

Approach

Reports aim to provide clear, balanced and understandable opinions. Particular attention is given to ensuring that reports are evidence-based, clinically grounded and responsive to the referral questions.

Where required, information from treating practitioners, medical records and other relevant documents may be considered as part of the assessment process.

Referrals are accepted from:

  • Solicitors

  • Barristers

  • Insurers

  • Government agencies

  • Employers

  • Medical practitioners
