A Mental Health Care Plan can provide Medicare rebates for up to 10 individual psychology sessions per calendar year. As a clinical psychologist, Daniel attracts the higher Medicare rebate.
FUNDED SCHEMES
No gap fee
Clients receiving treatment through a funded scheme pay no gap fee. Daybreak Psychology invoices the relevant scheme or fund manager directly.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. A cancellation fee of $75 applies when less than 48 hours’ notice is provided. This fee may be waived in cases of sudden illness or genuine emergency, at the discretion of the practice.

Psychological assessments for legal proceedings
Fees for psychological assessments are quoted on instruction. Fees vary depending on the nature and complexity of the matter, the volume of records to be reviewed and the requirements of the instructing party.
To discuss a referral or obtain a fee estimate, contact the practice directly. All medicolegal enquiries are handled by Daniel Wright personally.
Heidi Health
Daybreak Psychology uses Heidi, an AI-assisted note-taking tool. Audio is never recorded or stored. Conversations are transcribed in real time and the transcript is immediately discarded once a clinical note is generated.
We use Heidi because it benefits our clients:
Your psychologist is fully present. We can focus entirely on you rather than writing notes during your session.
Less repetition for you. Detailed notes mean you are less likely to need to repeat information during future appointments.
Better support for complex claims. For clients with WorkCover, TAC or other legal matters, thorough documentation strengthens their case and ensures nothing important is missed.
Clients who prefer not to use Heidi may request manual note-taking. A surcharge of $50 per session applies.
